On September 19, 2024, I teamed up with Bill Poznanski of the Imprints for one of the 30-minute guest DJ spots on Record Night at the Smiling Moose on Pittsburgh’s South Side. The Smiling Moose did this every other Thursday until its unfortunate closing on May 31, 2025. Anybody can sign up and play whatever he or she wants, as long as it’s on vinyl, for 30 minutes. As it was my first time, Bill graciously let me hog the set with seven 45s before he finished the half-hour with 45s from his cousin Linda’s collection. Thanks also to Bill for operating the equipment, which I would have had no clue about, on that night. I know what I’m doing now. Here’s where Bill's and my DJ sets are posted.
